Eyelash extensions are synthetic or natural fibers that are individually attached to your natural eyelashes using a special adhesive.

Eyelash extensions can last 3-5 weeks, but regular fills are needed every 2-3 weeks to maintain a full look.

Eyelash extensions can be made from various materials, including synthetic, silk, or mink polybutylene fibers.

When applied correctly by a trained and certified lash artist, eyelash extensions should not damage your natural lashes. However, improper application or excessive weight can cause damage if you do not go to a certified and trained professional.

Classic extensions involve one extension per natural lash, while volume extensions use multiple thinner extensions per lash for a fuller look.

If you happen to notice one of your eyelash extensions falling out prematurely, there's no need to be overly concerned. Our natural lashes have a continuous shedding cycle where we naturally lose about 3-5 lashes each day. The distinction is that you're more likely to observe the loss of extensions compared to your natural lashes. So, if a few extensions come off earlier than expected, it's a normal part of the process, and there'sgenerally no cause for alarm. Your lash extensions will naturally cycle and renew themselves as your own lashes do.

Prices vary by the style and customization. Pricing can range from $130 to $250 or more for a full set, and fills are typically $75 to $120. Check our highlights story on our instagram page for offers @thelashdoctorsa

Yes, you can typically choose the length, curl, and thickness of your eyelash extensions to achieve your desired look.

Arrive with clean, makeup-free lashes. Avoid using oil-based products before the appointment. No serums, moisturizers, SPF, or mascara. Avoid mascara for three days before your appointment.

The application process should not be painful, if at any time you experience any discomfort during your service, please let your artist know so she can adjust the tape and gel pads.

The application process usually takes 1-2 hours, depending on the style and the number of natural lashes you have. Everyone has a different number of natural eyelashes so these times can vary.

Washing your eyelash extensions is important to maintain their cleanliness and longevity without causing damage. Here's a step-by-step guide:

  1. Apply the lash cleanser: Place a small amount of the lash extension cleanser on the clean brush or disposable eyelash wand.
  2. Gently cleanse: With the soapy brush or wand, delicately sweep along the lash line and the base of your extensions. Be extremely gentle, avoiding excessive pressure or scrubbing, to prevent damage to the extensions or natural lashes.
  3. Rinse thoroughly: Use lukewarm water to rinse away the cleanser. Be sure to remove all the soap residue, again avoiding excessive rubbing or tugging.
  4. Pat dry: Gently pat your lashes dry with a clean, lint-free cloth. Do not rub or pull on them.
  5. Brush your lashes: Once your lashes are dry, use the clean disposable eyelash wand or a lash brush to comb through your extensions, separating and fluffing them if needed.

Tips:

  • Avoid using cotton pads or swabs near your extensions, as they can catch on the lashes and potentially damage them.
  • Do not use oil-based cleansers or makeup removers, as these products can make your lash fans not fluffy anymore.
  • Try to clean your lashes daily or as recommended by your technician to prevent oil buildup and maintain their cleanliness.
  • Be gentle and patient throughout the washing process to avoid pulling or dislodging your extensions.

Properly cleaning your eyelash extensions not only keeps them looking beautiful but also ensures their longevity and helps maintain the health of your natural lashes. If you have any concerns or questions, consult with your lash technician for personalized guidance.

You can still wear eye makeup, but it's recommended to use our bubbles to wash any debris off. It’s important to keep the eye area clean to prevent any infections.Avoid waterproof mascara or waterproof anything.

You're advised to avoid waterproof makeup primarily due to the manner in which it must be removed. Excessive rubbing or tugging in this area can potentially disrupt the placement of eyelash extensions, causing them to shift or even prematurely fall out. This is why it's recommended to steer clear of waterproof makeup to maintain the integrity of your lash extensions.

Avoid rubbing your eyes, use our lash extension-safe bubbles, and brush your extensions regularly to prevent tangling.

Yes, you can immediately get your lashes wet right after your application. Our products have changed over time and we have techniques that allow us to cure your glue immediately.

It's safer to have them professionally removed to prevent damage to your natural lashes.

If you experience an adverse reaction, contact usimmediately. We may recommend removing the extensions.

Typically, fills are needed every 2-3 weeks to replace any extensions that have naturally shed or grown out.
